City "Stuff"

Moose Jaw’s City Hall is located on one of the most historic corners in Saskatchewan.  It is housed in the original Post Office, built in 1911.  Across Fairford Street i the Hammond Building, built in 1912 and across Main Street are the original Merchant Bank, now the home to Clothes Encounter, built in 1918 and the Bank of Nova Scotia, built as the Bank of Montreal, in 1911.  Significantly, this is one of very few remaining intersections on each corner of which a historic building still stands and is still in use today.  This is a true indication of the importance Moose Jaw places on its heritage buildings and their fascinating histories.  Let us tell you a bit more about our city…
